What it can't download
Stories, private or friends-only posts, closed groups, and live videos that are still streaming. It handles one link at a time.

Can I download private Facebook videos?
No. If a post is friends-only, in a closed group, or needs a login to view, we can't see it either. Quick test: open the link in a private browser window. If Facebook asks you to log in, it won't work here.
Which Facebook links work?
Any public video, Reel, or photo link, including watch pages, Page video links, fb.watch short links, /reel/ links, photo permalinks, and the /share/ links from the Facebook share sheet. Mobile m.facebook.com links work too.
Is FBDownload affiliated with Meta?
No. FBDownload is an independent tool and is not endorsed by or connected to Meta Platforms, Inc. Facebook is a trademark of Meta.
